My name is Gemma, I am a Therapist working privately and in schools as an NHS Qualified Mental Health and Wellbeing/Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.

I help children, young people and their families to focus on exploring, understanding and building resilience to navigate through everyday life challenges. I value the importance of creativity and play, enabling a safe environment to explore challenging feelings.

As a senior accredited member of the ACCLH
my work focuses on guiding families through their children’s behavioural changes and working within schools to support teachers to manage children’s feelings at school such as anxiety, anger, and worry.

I have experience supporting clients with:

-Behavioural issues, including outbursts, panic attacks, and anxiety,

-School refusal, friendship issues and school-related worries,

-Social skills development and self-esteem.

-Neurodiversity, ASD and ADHD

As a former primary school teacher with over 10 years experience I cherished my additional pastoral roles of school subject lead in PSHE/Student Teacher Mentor.

In my work, I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities including Sand Play, NLP, Coaching, Picture Therapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Mindfulness tailored to the unique needs of each client.
